Mary

Mary
Whenever I look into my own dark eyes
I see another and that other
Is my dearest loving mother
From whose passing I seek to recover
Only to discover
That she is no longer an other
We are now one another
Son and mother
Like isis and osirus
She is always near us
And can even hear us
As I beseach
In this speech
To always be within reach

Jesus and mary
Life on the prarie
So what care we
If we have to tarry
Here on earth
Where there is no mirth
From death to birth
As the ancients believed
But they were maybe as self-deceived
As we are happy to be relieved
To have been joyfully conceived
And by mary’s love fully reprieved
From a life without meaning
And just plain old seeming
To be alive and beaming
In a troubled world that’s teaming and steaming
With pain and sorrow
As its legacy for tomorrow

Named after mare
Sea mother of all life
In her there is no ill strife
Just endless life after life

A mother a wife and a sister too
But for me she was my friend
To the very end
A godsend
Meant to transcend
And mend

“mary had a little lamb
Its fleece was white as snow
And everywhere that mary went
The lamb was sure to go.”

I in thee and thee in me
No longer ego but just we
As he in she
And she in me
So I can see
And ultimately be

A force of nature
Or an act of god
The goddess in us all
Not the devouring maw
She goes by many names
From time immemorial
And that which is eternal
In the ever present now
Isis, Astarte, venus, mare
Mary the mother of god
Mary the mother of all

Now she rests with the ages
In the arms of the sages
As strife here still rages
Eternity turns the pages
But forever mary’s love
Drifts down from above
Constant and eternal
The truth in a kernel
A force devine
One out of the many
Now the many from the one

Happy am I to be her son

Pale Face

The angry white dude
Without a shred of rectitude
Is something I allude
But would prefer to totally exclude.

He is the ultimate in just plain rude
Mean and ugly and very crude
He is as well downright lude.

If there be even a hint of similitude
With what this verse has just now hewed
I'd say my life was a bit too skewed
And I ought to maybe be barbecued
Then left in quite solitude
Or better yet just plain screwed
Forsaken for soothed
Shaven and smoothed
It's time for me to take a snooze
Forget the news
About being abused
With you I'm fused
And no longer confused.

But it's the angry white male
Whose act has gone stale
A life up for sale
A man no longer hale
So let him whine and wail
With his face so pale
He needs to be ridden out of town on a rail.

If death be his due
Let him stink and stew
In the awful brew
He made for me and you.
Poetic justice he'll rue
And threaten to sue
As I cast at him my worn out shoe
Let him boo-hoo
As we shout-pee-you!

May this be our coup
That he'll never undo
This too is a clue
About the millions he slew
As he acted on cue
In his moral debut
So let us review
How evil sticks to him like glue.

As he rages through the ages
And laughs at the sages
His history a mystery until these final pages
If death be his wages
Then our pain this assuages.

Trump's Dump

Donald Trump
Is taking a dump
And out of his rump
Comes the babe he just pumped
It made him slump
Over his clover-lined plover
There by the cliffs of Dover
Where he wants it to be all over

Oh silly boy
You’re just the toy
Of a real Rob Roy
Whose full of Joy
Or whatever her name
With whom he came
To this land untame
To him it’s all the same
Cause in the end its you who he’ll blame
And put on you a mountain of shame

Tiger, tiger
Burning bright
In the Black Forrest
Stands the wholly white night
He is an ugly sight
Because he lives off fright
Not the people’s might
Decency or right
What immortal hand and eye
Will cast you both
Into the bye and bye
You are so sly
Still you have to die
So four and twenty blackbirds
Can bake you into a pie
Then fly to the sky
And get mighty high

Every dog will have its day
Every man can have his hour of power
The sweet and the sour
Every man can have his say
A mind to build
And a world to sway
In the end it’s they
Who will stay
And you who will lay
Forever and a day
Completely out of the way
On life not death
You cast your cold eye
Now by you the horseman
Just merely ride by

The four and twenty blackbirds
Who baked you into their pie
To wish you a good-bye
Bart was bright
But had no sight
Or inner light
What seemed to him right
Was something that goes
Bump in the night
A devil’s brew
Made just for you

No Poems Today
‘Cause my brain’s away
The world as will to power
Makes me want to cower
Then take a long cold shower

If life seems dour
Without the flower
Of youth uncouth
Forsaken forsooth

Then old age is my refuge
As much as life’s refuse

Strong and sublime
The Tree of Life do I climb
As I turn out this rhyme
Amidst such soil and slime

I’m one of a kind
A typical kine
To no god do I bind
This sorry old rind
That which is immortal
Is life seen through my porthole

All is holy
All is Sacred
Each and every moment
Each and everything

For this do I sing
Ring-a-ding-ding
This is the song
That I play on my dong
As I smoke a bong
Ring-a-ding-dong
All the day long

If death be near
Then life seems queer
Without a beer
To help one steer

Forever and a day
Searching for a new way
Not to leave but to stay
A world not fit to win
But only to slay

Does this make me gay
Or just willing to pay
The piper her due
Amidst this big PU

What was it I slew
To get into this stew
Such a mighty brew
Ha-ha I fooled y’all
So don’t bother to call
When the shit hits the wall
It’ll be on us all
The short and the tall
On death life’s paw
As I look for my squaw
In this hollowed hall

There was a time
For all that was sublime
An Everest to climb
And bells to chime

The youth of humanity
Was without inanity
A place for sanity
As well as the Manatee

Thus Spake Zarathustra
With all his whit and whim
Perhaps he’d rather
Just take a swim
In the stream of consciousness
His history is a mystery
The philosophers stone
And the musician’s tone
A necromancer’s bone
Served with tea and a scone
Thus spake Zoroaster
About life ever after
Of Ahura Mazda
And the temples of Llassa

This is the reason
For the end-time season
Not just and old geezer wheezing
After a lifetime of sleazing

Let death have its due
For all that it slew
And the eternal stew
Over such an insouciant brew
For the whole damned crew
That includes me and you

Osiris is near us
And can even hear us
This mother and son
Weigh a hell of a ton
Nowhere to hide
Nowhere to run
In spite of it all
And its overwrought pall
We still have fun
As I play with your bun
Is that OK hun

A poem’s a tome
And a way to roam
While still at home
Under St. Peter’s dome
Where I only came my hair to comb
In a catacomb

Far and wide
Do I stride
The hurricane I ride
Only to slide
To the end-time side
Not out of pride
Butt to save my Hyde

If Jesus saves
The Buddha pays
For many ways
And countless days
No longer
In a haze

So it was in ancient days
When in a daze
To do what the seer says
And to see the voice
That saves us from choice
From without and within
The sacred din
That sets us free from sin
And all kith & kin
With ears of tin

Rin-Tin-Tin
Is my only kith & kin
The rest I’ve tossed
Into History’s garbage bin
An ode to all that might have been

So without much sense or meaning
I’ll try not to be too overweening
Or left leaning
While still gleaning
 The spotless cleaning
Given to sentimentality and cruelty
That evil twin dualty
The essence of religion
For each and every pigeon

But a psychological wonder
From the Land Down Under
May cause capitalism (and religion) to split asunder
With all the usual lightening & thunder

This post-modern Prometheus
May put the ruling classes beneath us
As it lies amidst it’s cries
Until flies walk on their eyes
Julian’s taken its size
And won the grand prize

The Secret Team screamed
Because Julian creamed
His ass they rheemed
Cause of what it seemed
Soon they’ll have flies on their eyes
Cause Julian ‘s taken their size
At last the world sighs
And finally cries
Tears of joy
Thanks to this blond haired boy
And his computer toy

Untitled Unknown

Do you know me?
Do you think you’ve known me?

I see your gaze forever upon me
In the supermarket of bad ideas that I live in

I am the so called irresistible force (of cosmic destiny)
I fancy myself as well an immovable object lesson
To which you object all the more as I snore all the more for sure!

A lyin’ in winter
You will always be!

But I am the tyger tyger burning bright
In Blake’s forest of the knight;
Such a horrid sight
It would give Dante a fright!

You think you know
In what furnace burnt my brain?
Amidst the torment and the insane strain-

I am reborn upon this thorn like horn
The libido of a revolution that is the solution
For a world of pollution in need of absolution!

I can not rest content without some content
Of God’s great judgment day
Being under my sway today and to stay
So as to survive the hay-day of the fray to slay!

You know-did I say-
That indeed there is a way
To have it happen all in a day?

An Apocalypse of terror for those in error
In the stillness of the Knight within the night
That’s beyond wrong & right
 He’s indeed a sullen sight
For sorry souls given over to fright!

Cast a cold eye on life-
On death as Yeats would have preferred it-
Horsemen pass-by!

Ireland forever was my brother’s cry
Liberte, equalite, fraternate my sister’s sorry sigh!

I am the godsend of Lenin
An apostle of Mao’s;
In the language of class-war and the eternal whore
I speak of peace as being something one finds
On the battlefield of dead and dying bad ideas
And yet forevermore
As much as I have tried to forswore
You will see me nevermore!

Da-Sein

I'm an experiment
In human decent
Full of intent
That was never meant
"To be or not to be"
Out of the Cosmic Sea-
"I came, I saw, I conquered"
All that was me
And thee and we.

A Frankenstein of evolution,
That for humanity will be-
Its Final Solution,
Or for its sins to be given
A complete absolution?

The kind of pain that I endure
To seek to explain it-
Would make you snore all the more;
But if my purpose is pure for sure
Even that you would politely ignore.

Of Heidegger's Being and Time
I seek to create something
As equally sublime-
Such is the real purpose
Of my bawdy rhyme;
Thus the exercise of it
Can be no crime.

Babylon's Great Whore
And the Bible god's bringer of war
Unlike me whom you adore and I forswore
All the more to ensure that all endure
Forevermore!

Hard Reign

Removed from our lands
That we worked with bare hands
Herded into your city
A place with no pity

Under the lash of need
You made us bleed
In the endless wars
Of your political whores
Driven by your greed
And your mindless screed

Petty tyrants all
The great and the small
The capitalist world
At critics it hurled
The meanest of lies
It called them spies

As our child cries
With tears in her eyes
Amidst constant sighs
We now take your size

For a judgment day
That's now on the way
To make you pay
For all those you did slay

And who are we
But a commodity to thee
A vast human sea
On us you just pee

But you’ll always agree
No humanity in us do you see
Your law and your prison
And the Anti- Christ who’s risen
Shall bring you no peace
If your injustice not cease

We are the many
You are the few
We are a Truth
That you never knew

A planet that’s dead
May it be on your head
It’s what you’ll get instead
Of the mountain of plunder
From the poor now down under

May Gabriel’s horn be for you nuclear thunder
That’ll cast you and your seed above and down under
As in the heavens and so on the Earth
Your end will be forever greeted with riotous mirth

Let judgment day be soon
Before all life doth swoon
And our whole Earth become
A lifeless moon

It's humanity’s high noon

Yes, with Gabriel’s hot horn
Your future's forlorn
And humanity’s hot scorn
For a social fabric rendered torn
This will testify against you the morrow morn

As you have done unto others
So it will now be done unto you
The very rich few
And the masses they slew

But the world never knew

Oh what a devilish crew
Who created this brew
It’s all we can do
To get rid of you

It was your season for treason
That gave us a reason
Not to be appeasin’
Just ourselves to be pleasin’

So all the day long
We sing out a song
All the long day
We ponder the way

Happy I must say
That we refused to obey

And all the long day
We sing out a song
Right and wrong are long gone
Up and down no more
No peace no war
Ever again on this shore

Out of the many the one
From a penny a ton
We the ones who've won
Our place in the sun
The battle is over
The class war we've won

A crown and the scepter
Is ours ever after
